Other nutrients that may be helpful include: Cetyl Myristoleate/CMO (300 mg daily between meals), PROLYT proteolytic enzymes (3-4 capsules 3 times per day), MSM (4-20 grams daily between meals), N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) (1000-2000 mg per day between meals), Double Zinc+ (1 tablet per day), Pantethine Plus (500-2000 mg per day), Natural Progesterone Cream (1/4-1 tsp per day rubbed onto painful joints – especially for women), Niacinamide (200-1000 mg per day), Immune Assist (2-6 caps daily), Nascent Iodine (5-10 drops in water daily), Rejuvenate!™ (1-2 tablespoons per day), and SAMe (400-800 mg daily).

Please eat a diet that is relatively low in fat (eat only organic lean meat, poultry and fish in the amount of 3-5 ounces per day) and high in fiber containing foods such as vegetables, fruits (especially berries and cherries), whole grains (e.g., brown rice, oat meal, millet, and quinoa), beans, nuts and seeds (chia, sunflower, flax and sesame in small amounts -- 2 to 4 ounces -- are good).  Read Diet for a Small Planet  as a guide to healthy foods and diet. Eat an alkaline forming organic foods diet -- follow the recommendations on the chart entitled "Effect of Foods on Body Chemistry."  Vegetable juices such as carrot and carrot/other vegetable combinations are encouraged. Try eating Hank's Vegetable Soup several times a week. Avoid all sweets (sugar), alcohol, soft drinks, coffee (1 cup in the morning may be okay), processed/refined foods (white bread and pasta), and foods with artificial preservatives, flavorings, and colors. Drink purified or spring water only. Eat a whole-foods diet as much as possible.  Try not to eat the same thing every day as this may lead to food allergy which has been identified as a major factor in arthritis. Dairy products, citrus fruits, and vegetables in the nightshade family are often troublesome for those with arthritis. Avoid aspirin and other NSAIDs as these can prevent the healing process from taking place.

Stress reduction methods should be practiced daily -- peaceful music, biofeedback or meditation/prayer may be helpful -- you may find it helpful to read Minding the Body, Mending the Mind.  Please make sure to get reasonable amounts of exercise appropriate for you on a daily basis -- walking (even slowly) for at least 10 minutes and up to 4 miles daily is quite appropriate. Try to maintain a proper weight for your height and age in order to avoid stressing your joints. Please do not smoke - this inhibits healing. You may find that alternating between hot and cold water in the shower (1 minute hot followed by 1 minute cold for up to seven cycles) may be helpful as it improves blood circulation and lymphatic fluid movement!
