Additional nutrients that may be useful include Selenium (100 mcg per day as l-selenomethionine), N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (500-2000 mg per day), Rejuvenate!™ Berries & Herbs (1-2 scoops per day), Hepa Plus (2-4 per day), Nascent Iodine (10-30 drops daily), Chromium (200 mcg per day), and Pantethine Plus (2-4 per day). The supplement schedule (above) should be achieved slowly over a period of a month or more. Begin with PRO-C, then add the PolyDophilus, then add Immune Assist, next add Essential Fats Plus E, next add the Multivitamin, then Complete E. Always begin with small doses (1/2 to 1/3 of the recommended dosage) and build up over a period of a week or two to the recommended dosage. The rest may be added in any order. If any of these supplements cause you to feel worse, then stop taking it or cut the dosage to smaller amounts.
Please eat a diet that is low in fat. Eat lean poultry and fish (especially herring, mackerel, salmon, and sardines) (3-5 ounces per day) and high fiber foods, including organic vegetables, fruits, whole grains (e.g., brown rice, millet, quinoa, and whole wheat), beans, nuts and seeds (chia, sunflower, ground flax and ground sesame in small amounts (1 or 2 ounces) are especially good). Avoid all sweets (sugar) and processed or refined foods (white bread and pasta). Drink at least 16 oz of fresh vegetable and fruit juices each day. Try not to eat the same thing every day. Avoid fried foods, milk and milk products, and alcohol. You may need to follow an anti-candida program if you have been taking antibiotics for an extended period.
To cleanse the skin, you may find it helpful to take baths with 1 cup baking soda, 1-2 cups of Ancient Minerals Magnesium Chloride Flakes, and 1 teaspoon of almond oil (optional) to prevent dryness. In addition, apply Ancient Mineral Magnesium Gel (with Aloe vera) to your skin, especially on affected areas. Get as much sunlight on your skin as possible (without overdoing it). Low temperature (125° F) saunas for about 30-60 minutes per day may be helpful. Relaxation techniques such as abdominal breathing, meditation, biofeedback, etc., have proven helpful to some people. Exercise aerobically for 30 minutes at least three times a week. Colonics with a competent therapist may be helpful if the above program is not resolving the problem by itself. Be sure to thoroughly rinse you clothes after washing in the washing machine by running them through the washing machine again with no detergent (just water). Avoid putting toxic chemicals on your skin from cosmetics, creams, lotions, soaps, shampoos, etc.
