Additional nutrients that may be helpful include: Echinacea tincture (2 droppersful 4 times daily), Silver Biotics polyvalent silver (swish 1 tsp in your mouth twice daily), Ginkgo Biloba standardized extract (240 mg daily), N-Acetyl-L- Cysteine NAC (2 gms per day), progesterone cream for women (1/4 tsp twice daily on cheeks outside gum area), Folinic Acid as a capsule (800 mcg per day) and Folic Acid liquid as a mouth rinse, and Myo-Mag (2-5 capsules daily – start with 2 and build up to larger dosages slowly until you are close to bowel tolerance).

Please eat a diet that is relatively low in fat (eat only lean meat, poultry and fish - salmon, sardines, mackerel, trout, and bluefish -- in the amount of a 5-10 ounces per day) and high in fiber containing foods such as vegetables (including 16 oz per day of fresh juices from carrot, celery, beets, cabbage, etc.), fruits, whole grains (eg. brown rice, millet, quinoa, and oatmeal), beans, nuts and seeds (chia, sunflower, flax, pumpkin, almond, walnut and sesame in small amounts -- 2 or 4 ounces -- are good).  Try eating Hank's Vegetable Soup several times a week.  If eating is difficult, blending food in a food processor may help.  Avoid all sweets (however, xylitol would be OK), processed/refined foods (white bread and pasta), preservatives, and artificial flavors and colors.  Drink green tea after each meal. Alkalinize your mouth and body by drinking 4 oz purified water with ¼ tsp baking soda several times daily. Use a baking soda based toothpaste without fluoride.

Relaxation exercises including abdominal breathing, progressive relaxation, and meditation/prayer should be practiced daily. Take baths daily with Ancient Minerals Magnesium Flakes (2-3 cups) or Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil (4-8 oz) and baking soda (1-2 cups), or you can apply Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil or Gel onto your skin (this may sting a bit – but leave it on for at least 20 minutes before washing it off).
