PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: CM PLUS™ contains 60 mg per capsule of cetyl myristoleate (CMO) along with other cetylated oils. It is derived from 100% vegetable oil by esterification of palm kernel oil with cetyl alcohol, and contained in a carob-colored softgel capsule with a small amount of olive oil and Vitamin E.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: Cetyl myristoleate (CMO) is a natural substance protected under US patent no. 5,569,676 entitled Method for the Treatment of Osteoarthritis. In several major clinical trials, CMO has been shown to be about highly effective as a support in the treatment of many forms of joint conditions. CM Plus was the product used in the major clinical trial of cetyl myristoleate conducted by Dr. Siemandi (see CM Plus product rationale). It is believed that CMO's effects are due to its ability to reprogram memory T-cells and act as a potent anti-inflammatory. CMO has been used as a supportive adjunct in treatments for a range of conditions of poor health, including lupus, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, BPH, and emphysema. Most courses of treatment recommend a total CMO dose of 18 grams taken over a period of 1-2 months. Discontinuing use for a period of time and then taking the CMO again does not appear to change the effectiveness of the treatment or the total amount needed. In some cases improvements are seen after only a few days of taking CMO. It is recommended that the person taking CMO refrain from alcohol, chocolate, and coffee during the treatment to maximize the effectiveness. Individuals who have poor liver function apparently do not obtain the maximum benefit from CMO, and for them it is suggested that a liver support program be undertaken before initiating CMO treatment. A liver support program might incorporate dietary supplements, including Hepa Plus, Green Vibrance, and PRO-C™, as well as an appropriate organic raw food diet and avoidance of sources of toxic chemicals. It is recommended that CMO be taken between meals with a full-spectrum digestive enzyme such as Digase™ in order to enhance absorption. An improved response often occurs when CMO is taken together with other joint supporting nutrients, including glucosamines and chondroitin sulfate. In some cases, an exacerbation of symptoms may occur for a few days before significant improvements are noticed. CMO has been shown to be non-toxic even in high dosages. It has also proven effective for joint conditions in animals.

DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement take 1-2 capsules 30-45 minutes before meals 2-3 times daily, or as directed by a health care professional.

INGREDIENTS: 1 softgel capsule contains 500 mg of the highest-quality cetylated palm kernel oil (12% cetyl myristoleate) and Vitamin E (2 IU) in a base of mixed fatty acid esters, olive oil, gelatin, natural carob color, and water.

CM Plus does not contain wheat, rye, oats, corn, barley, gluten, egg, dairy, yeast, sugar, chlorides, wax, preservatives, artificial colorings, or artificial flavorings.
