POLY-DOPHILUS is a dairy-free, high-potency blend of biointestinal cultures providing beneficial effects for digestive tract function. It contains six strains of the hardiest lactic acid bacteria organisms at a potency of 10-15 billion per gram (at time of manufacture). 1 capsule (280 mg) contains in excess of 3.36 billion organisms. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are natural carbohydrates that enhance the replication of beneficial bacteria in the intestines. PolyDophilus is in a hypoallergenic microcrystalline cellulose media contained in a formaldehyde-free and preservative-free capsule (gelatin and glycerin). Vitamin C has been added as an antioxidant and cell-wall protector.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: The beneficial bacteria in PolyDophilus have been found to be effective cofactors in support of protocols for yeast infections (including vaginitis), thrush, diarrhea, colitis, and cold sores. These friendly cultures have been shown to inhibit the growth of disease causing bacteria, including candida, strep, staph, and salmonella. Research shows that the combination of these friendly bacteria produces better results than a single strain of cultured bacteria. PolyDophilus can be used to repopulate the gut with beneficial flora both during and after treatment with antibiotics. The FOS included in PolyDophilus significantly enhance the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines. The bacteria in PolyDophilus survive stomach acids and readily implant in the intestines.

DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement take 1-3 capsules daily preferably with water (unchilled) 20-60 minutes after meals, or as directed by a health care professional. Keep in refrigerator or freezer to ensure maximum effectiveness.
