DIRECTIONS: For general health maintenance, mix one tablespoon of Edible Earth® in an 8 oz glass of pure spring water and drink once daily. Dosage for children under 12 is one teaspoon per 50 lbs of body weight. Follow by consuming an additional 8 fluid ounces of pure spring water. Edible Earth® should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning or late evening. Limit contact with wet metal utensils where possible, as this degrades the effectiveness of the clay formula. Adequate intake of fresh water is vital due to the absorptive nature of this product. Keep the container closed and in a dry place when not in use. Edible Earth® does not expire.

For intensive use and deep cleansing of the entire GI tract, use up to (8) eight rounded tablespoons per day. An additional 8 fluid ounces of water should be consumed for each tablespoon used. Due to its incredible ‘drawing’ power, Edible Earth® can also be used for absorption of toxins in the stomach and GI tract, and for relief from indigestion.

Warning: This product may absorb anything that is taken with it. Edible Earth® and other healing clays are not to be taken internally along with medications and/or dietary supplements, as they can be drawn in and reduced in effectiveness. Consult with your physician if you have a health condition or are on any prescription medication.

For Bowel Elimination And Constipation: Gastrointestinal effects from Edible Earth® such as constipation and reduced frequency of bowel movements are indicative of a digestive system that is not functioning at its optimum. The potential for any constipation from consuming healing clays can often be eliminated by increasing water intake. Specifically, when water is in short supply in the body, the colon will act to restrict unnecessary water loss through the stool. This results in harder stools that are more difficult to pass. However, in some individuals it still may be necessary to first acclimate the body to the ingestion of healing clays, especially if one already has infrequent bowel movements. This can be done through “pulse dosing” whereby one would consume (1) one rounded tablespoon of Edible Earth® each day for 3 days, followed by a period of 3 days where no clay would be consumed. Generally speaking, the digestive system typically becomes acclimated within 4 weeks, but can vary depending on diet as well as the overall health of the GI tract.
