PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PREGNENOLONE contains 30 mg of the highest-quality pharmaceutical-grade pregnenolone. Only the highest-purity microcrystalline cellulose, silica, and magnesium trisilicate are used as fillers and flow agents. Pregnenolone contains no magnesium stearate.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: Sometimes called the "parent hormone," pregnenolone is made in the body from cholesterol. All the body's steroid hormones (including neurosteroids) are made from pregnenolone. Key organs producing pregnenolone include the brain, the adrenal cortex, and the gonads. It is the primary building block for the sex hormones (including progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, and estrogen), aldosterone, and corticosteroids. In The Super-Hormone Promise, Dr. William Regelson states that applications of pregnenolone include: 1) Memory enhancement (some researchers claim that pregnenolone is the most potent memory enhancer ever discovered), 2) Improved concentration, 3) Fighting mental fatigue, and 4) Relieving arthritis.
