OPC-C™OPC-C™ combines 25 mg of high potency BioVin® grape extract (from grape seeds, skins, and stems) with 500 mg of buffered Vitamin C in the form of powdered calcium, magnesium, and zinc ascorbates. BioVin® grape extract exhibits a very high content of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC). OPCs exert a potent antioxidant capability (50 times greater than Vitamin E and 20 times greater than Vitamin C in vitro), and are highly effective anti-inflammatory and anti-aging substances. OPCs destroy free radicals and restore correct alignment of collagen fibers in aging or damaged connective tissue. The ingredients are contained in a preservative-free gelatin capsule. OPC-C™ is designed to be hypoallergenic and suitable for hypersensitive individuals.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: Vitamin C is known to perform many critical functions within the body involving detoxification, tissue building, immune enhancement, pain control, and controlling or killing pathogenic organisms. It is also known to be helpful for wound and bone healing, healthy skin and eyes, fighting infections, stress control, toxic exposure, and repairing damaged tissue of all types. Taking adequate amounts of Vitamin C may help to prevent a wide range of disease states. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are the most powerful natural free radical scavengers known, and as a bioflavonoid complex, they increase the effectiveness of Vitamin C. They were discovered and studied by Dr. Jack Masquelier. OPCs cross the blood-brain barrier to provide antioxidant protection to central nervous system tissue. Studies have demonstrated that OPCs improve and normalize capillary activity, strengthening capillary walls. They bind to collagen fibers, realigning them in the process to a more youthful, undamaged structure. Elasticity and flexible strength is restored thereby to connective tissue. Supported by numerous clinical studies, OPCs may be a useful adjunct to protocols that deal with aging/longevity, circulation, visual acuity, skin wrinkling, bruising, mental function, inflammation in sports injuries, immune resistance, accelerated healing, allergies, reduction of fatigue, and increased energy. OPCs are extremely stable, showing no loss of potency after 12 years of storage. They are non-toxic, highly bioavailable, and remain effective during long-term use.

DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement take 2 capsules of OPC-C™ daily with food, or as recommended by a health care professional. It initially may be useful to take up to 6 capsules spread out over the day for a week or more.

INGREDIENTS: OPC-C™ only contains the highest-quality calcium ascorbate, magnesium ascorbate, and zinc ascorbate, BioVin® grape extract (greater than 95% OPC and greater than 3.5% anthocyanidins from grape seeds, skins, and stems), the smallest amounts of silica and magnesium trisilicate, and a preservative-free gelatin capsule.

OPC-C™ does not contain wheat, rye, oats, corn, barley, gluten, soy, egg, dairy, yeast, sugar, sulfates, wax, preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavorings.
