OPC-30 PLUS contains 30 mg of high potency BioVin® grape extract derived from grape seeds, skins, and stems. BioVin® exhibits a very high content of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC). OPCs have potent antioxidant capability (50 times greater than Vitamin E and 20 times greater than Vitamin C in vitro), and are highly effective in cross-linking and strengthening connective tissues. BioVin® also contains anthocyanins, which like OPCs spare Vitamin C and glutathione, and act as powerful antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and connective tissue strengtheners. The ingredients are contained in a preservative-free gelatin capsule. OPC-30 PLUS is designed to be hypoallergenic and is suitable for hypersensitive individuals.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are the most powerful known natural free radical scavengers. They were discovered and studied by Dr. Jack Masquelier. As bioflavonoids, they help increase the effectiveness of Vitamin C, and it is recommended that OPC-30 PLUS be taken in conjunction with Vitamin C. OPCs cross the blood-brain barrier to provide antioxidant protection to central nervous system tissues. Studies have demonstrated that OPCs effectively improve and normalize capillary activity, strengthening capillary walls. They bind to collagen fibers, realigning them to a more youthful, undamaged structure. Elasticity, flexiblity, and strength thereby are restored to connective tissues. Supported by numerous clinical studies, OPCs may be useful adjuncts to protocols that deal with aging/longevity, circulation, visual acuity, skin wrinkling, bruising, mental function, inflammation, immune resistance, accelerated healing, allergies, fatigue reduction, and increased energy. They are extremely stable, showing no loss of potency after twelve years of storage. They are non-toxic, highly bioavailable, and remain effective during long-term use.

DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement take 2-4 capsules daily with food, or as recommended by a health care professional. It initially may be useful to take up to 1 capsule daily per 30 pounds of body weight in divided doses throughout the day for one week.

INGREDIENTS: OPC-30 PLUS only contains the highest-quality BioVin® grape extract (greater than 95% OPC, greater than 3.5% anthocyanidins, and approximately 0.08% trans-resveratrol from grape seeds, skins, and stems), microcrystalline cellulose, the smallest amounts of silica and magnesium trisilicate, and a preservative-free gelatin capsule.

OPC-30 PLUS does not contain wheat, rye, oats, corn, barley, gluten, soy, egg, dairy, yeast, sugar, sulfates, phosphates, chlorides, fats, wax, preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavorings.
