PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: QUERCETIN PLUS is a hypoallergenic blend of bioflavonoids in tablet form. The active ingredients include the highest-purity quercetin, rutin, and oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) from grape extract (derived from grape seeds, skins, and stems).

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS & APPLICATIONS: Bioflavonoids synergistically work with Vitamin C to rebuild small blood vessels and other structural parts of the body. Many fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds contain bioflavonoids, and a diet rich in these foods provides adequate amounts. When the diet does not provide an optimal intake of these substances or if there is bodily injury or malfunction, a supplement providing 500 mg or more per day is recommended. Quercetin (a bioflavonoid) has been shown to have powerful anti-inflammatory effects, and may be helpful to persons suffering from allergic reactions and from swelling due to injury. Quercetin also is known to reduce viral activity and may be helpful with chronic viral syndromes. The oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) in BioVin® grape extract (derived from grape seeds, skins, and stems) are a highly bioavailable bioflavonoid complex. They are extremely powerful antioxidants (20 times more powerful than Vitamin C in vitro), potent anti-inflammatories, and collagen strengtheners. OPCs readily cross the blood-brain barrier and thereby may be helpful to persons suffering from allergic reactions or from swelling due to injury. Rutin is well-known for its effectiveness as a capillary strengthener.

INGREDIENTS: Quercetin Plus contains quercetin dihydrate, BioVin® grape extract (greater than 95% oligomeric proanthocyanidins and greater than 3.5% anthocyanidins from grape seeds, skins, and stems), rutin, cellulose, water-soluble cellulose coating, and vegetable stearate.

Quercetin Plus does not contain wheat, rye, oats, corn, barley, gluten, soy, egg, dairy, sugar, yeast, sulfates, chlorides, animal fats, wax, preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavorings.
