• PROLYT contains the proteolytic enzymes bromelain, trypsin (pancreatic enzyme), and chymotrypsin (pancreatic enzyme), and the polyphenols/bioflavonoids turmeric extract (95% curcuminoids), quercetin and oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) derived from grape seed extract in a veggie capsule.

• The bromelain in Prolyt is not blended with lactose to obtain a standard strength. It contains the full-strength enzymes extracted naturally from the fruit.

• Prolyt is an effective adjunct in protocols dealing with the digestion of proteins. The polyphenols/bioflavonoids turmeric extract, quercetin and oligomeric proanthocyanidins, as well as bromelain, are known for blocking the enzyme histidine decarboxylase, which gives rise to histamine. Histamine is involved in producing inflammation in the body.

• Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are well-known collagen cross-linkers that strengthen connective tissues. OPCs and quercetin also function as extremely effective free radical quenchers.
