• ONE-A-DAY GARLIC TABS contain premium-quality garlic that is naturally grown, hand-peeled to prevent allicin loss, and processed without chemical preservatives or additives. Tablets are enterically-coated so that stomach acids do not reduce total allicin potential, and to provide an odor-free product.
• One tablet contains all natural compounds provided by fresh garlic, including alliin, allicin, thiosulfinates, gamma-glutamylcysteines, and sulfur; and provides a minimum total allicin potential of 6,000 mcg (from 500 mg of garlic powder), equivalent to 1,500 mg of fresh garlic.
• Garlic has been shown to lower serum cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL-cholesterol; to reduce the "stickiness" of platelets, making blood circulation more efficient; to cause a mild reduction in blood pressure; is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic. Garlic also is associated with lowered risk of stomach and colon cancer when regularly consumed.
