BONE GUARDIAN CAPS is a unique formulation of minerals, vitamins, and cofactors needed by the body in order to build or rebuild strong bones and joints. The formula includes calcium (hydroxyapatite derived from pure, freeze-dried New Zealand veal bone), magnesium, zinc, boron, manganese, copper, silica, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K1 and K2 (as MK-7), and chondroitin sulfate complex.

NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS AND APPLICATIONS

The health of bones and joints depends on a wide range of nutrients in addition to calcium. These other nutrients have been shown through extensive research to work synergistically with calcium to reverse bone loss.

BONE GUARDIAN CAPS are especially useful to regulate calcium balance (for example, in protocols for the treatment of osteoporosis) and can be used in any case where bones and joints have been injured or are undergoing excessive stress (for example, in strenuous athletic activity) and degradation. Hydroxyapatite is derived from pure, freeze-dried New Zealand veal bone and as such contains calcium and phosphorus in a 2:1 ratio, as well as all of the other natural constituents of bone.

Vitamin K2 appears to improve bone quality, which leads to a reduction in fractures; however, bone density may not always be affected in some studies. In one study, In one study supplementation (1) of low dose vitamin K1 (500 μgm/day) for 3 years did not improve bone density in the treatment group. Another study (2) where vitamin K1 was used for two years resulted in no significant change in bone density compared to placebo. However, there were significantly fewer fractures in the treatment group (50% reduction). Also noted was a significant reduction of incident cancers in the treatment group.

Studies using hydroxyapatite on post-menopausal women with bone loss problems have shown that in conjunction with Vitamin D, hydroxyapatite can substantially reverse the bone loss process. In other studies of post-menopausal women, 3 mg per day of boron was shown to significantly increase (about twofold) both estrogen and testosterone levels, as well as greatly reduce the loss of calcium and magnesium from the body. Many people using BONE GUARDIAN CAPS have reported rapid fingernail growth after using the product for several months.
